Only if you feel it is ok.Only you can condone your actions, and face the man in the mirror. But I will tell you this, if I had exhausted all resources to feed my belly, yes I would most definitely steal a sandwich, cause I know if Im hungry so are my kids, and I would deal with the consequences of my actions later.

No, tell someone you are hungry, that is less embarrassing then sealing and getting caught going to court and possible prison for stealing a sandwich. For goodness sakes. Or better yet, sell your computer and buy some food. God bless

As awful as hunger is, it is best to ask for help before stealing. If you are serious, just ask. You might get a lot of refusals, but there is bound to be someone who can help you, in some way, even if it is just a bit of pocket change. But don't steal. It's not worth a trip to the cop shop.

There was a year in the history of Islam when there was a drought and there was a terrible shortage of food, only the rich could afford it in addition to those who received charity. In that year, every one who stole food and was really too poor to afford it were not punished for the crime.
The fault in this situation is that of the person in charge of them whoever that is (the breadwinner, the community leader, the president, etc) and they were to be punished for not providing for the people and pushing them that far.

I don't think it ever ok to steal, why can't you get a job and buy a sandwhich. Hell, I'd give you $20 to wash my car.

O.K. with who or what? That is the question. Because, you would still get arrested if the police were involved. On the other hand, if it was between you and a local shop owner who understood the situation, and felt sorry for you, he might find it to be O.K.
I would give you a sandwich anytime. :)

Before all you other christians start wondering about it. Read about David taking the show bread from the alter to feed himself and His men.
It was against the Law for David to do so, because that bread was for the priest. But God did not punish him for doing so.

depending on your situation it could be concidered to be alloud but in most cases no do not steal.... if you hae no meny cancle your internet and get your $40/month so you can buy your sandwidch the only way it could be legal is if you just came off of some like six moth nature hike in trying to find yourself in a spertal way or something like that
