Yes, you don't have to convince me. I know this.

I completely agree! We are living in the last days. Things will only get worse, there will never be peace on earth until Christ comes again. I believe that the increased weather related phenomenon is a sign of the beginning of a pole shift. I saw on PBS several months ago what happens (in theory) when the poles shift. If you take that information and merge it with what is in Revelations, it seems to me that when the world ends and the earth is as glass, that is when the pole shift will have completed. To see it on TV, it was like the earth turns inside out.
However, having said that, and truely believing it, we have to remember that these are things that are supposed to happen. God has planned them to happen. What we must do is be ready - live worthy, be prepared, be watchful and endure to the end. We must take care of ourselves, our families, and our neighbors.
It's not a matter of IF it will happen, but WHEN. No one knows when - exactly, but it WILL happen.
Thanks for the question.

Hard to say, a lot of people thought for sure it was the end during World War 1. Mostly I think, I'm going to die at some point, could be tomorrow for all I know, so no matter what, I just got to live each day as best I can.
best wishes

And then you have years like this year where so far not one hurricane has made landfall and forecasters say it's likely this will be one of the few years of the past 100 years that there are no hurricane landings on american soil.
So much for that theory.

Yeah, we're fecked. But I don't think it has anything to do with the Bible, just our own selfishness, greed and stupidity. We are a very rudimentary evolutionary species. I hope when we're wiped out by our own folly, something better evolves next time.

Believers already understand this. It's the rest of the world I'm worried about.

I'm more inclined to think in terms of global warming myself. Engineering problems, not moral ones.

Jesus prophesied of this, move away from the coast. He also prophesied of terrible whirlwinds, tornado's, move away from the plains. He also prophesied about earthquakes, wait a minute there is no where to run. The wrath of God and judgement is here and it will only get worse.

We are indeed in the last days of this wicked system of things.
Soon the Kingdom of God will be ushered in.
