I think it's annoying when people can't use proper grammar!It's "they're"!!!
I guess Jessica didn't like my answer.

some people are told they are stupid and they get to believe it. some are not wanting to do anything so they act stupid. and yes some really are stupid..

I act stupid just cuz my family said I'm dumb, so I just act dumb until one day they ask me a question that they don't know the answer to and I know it, so I can prove that I'm not dumb.

Paris Hilton once said that if you act like you dont know how to do something, people will stop asking you to do it. So maybe thats why.... They pretend to be dumb so they dont have to do something. Hope this helps.

b/c they are looking for more attention, are trying to escape demands placed upon "smarter" labeled people, or perhaps really think they are stupid. or maybe it is drugs/alcohol?
