i tip, even though they make above minimum wage. their job really sucks, and they have to do it regardless of weather conditions. they deserve it.

I do! Where I went to college, there were two universities there and I knew that the students rarely tipped. If I bought a drink, I sometimes tipped as much as $1 if I didn't have anything less. I had one of them try to give it back to me though. My mom and husband always get on to me about tipping them so much because they say they already get paid a regular hourly rate. I don't know if it's true or not, but I still tip.

That is a waste of money, why tip someone for doing there job, which requires absolutely no skills. Tip to get "Fast Food"? that is rediculous. Not to mention it is so cheap, even if you tip 20% it would be change, not to mention they are making a general wage for that job, not the standard 2.00/per hour that waiters make.
If you tip them, then everyone will begin tipping them and they will expect it.
I hope you don't

A friend asked the same question and the majority of the answers were yes. If I order a drink only, I give them the change. If I order food, I give them a dollar.

Yes, I do. They bring the food and clean up after you. I don't tip people at places like Starbucks, however.

I tip, but not the same as if I were out dining for a sit-down meal.
When I was a waitress, I worked hard for 20% of your check :)
Do you know if they are paid minimum wage or a waitresses wage?

I do only if I have more money that the cost of the icee or slushie that I ordered. My sister in law thinks I'm crazy. But I am also the one who gives Christmas treats to all the postal workers here in town. (There are only 6 of them)

Sure...it's appropriate to tip them as you would wait staff at a sitdown restaurant or buffet....they have to bring out your food in the cold, rain, heat, etc...they deserve something...

Yes, it's no big deal to give a working teenager some extra money.
