Pains in the lower abdomen, similar to menstrual cramps, but worse. Pain often shoots up into the ribs. Extreme bloating (4-5 months pregnant looking, bloating). Lighter periods. I’ve had urine & blood tests, as well as an ultrasound… Dr’s are clueless… any ideas?

Another ultrasound in 2 weeks. Will be seeing another Dr./Specialist for further investigation. In the mean time I think my fam. Dr. is giving me meds I don't actually need.... there are 4 so far. I am concerned about taking all of them at once.

crampy abdominal pain radiated to the chest +abdominal distention+normal tests... the problem is in your intestines ,if you haven't lately changed your eating habits and you're under a lot of stress (physical or mental ) and the whole condition is associated with occasional passage of loose stool ,your most probable diagnosis is irritable bowel syndrome

It could be IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). You really should be getting diagnosed by a GI (Gastro-Intestinal) specialist. But by the sounds of it, I think that is what it might be.
If that is what it is I doubt it has anything to do with your periods. How are you in bowel movements...are you either having diarrhea or constipation? Usually constipation is the problem but it could be the other extreme too. Certain foods make it worse. Could be you have excess gas too or the IBS could be causing the excess gas.
I know my young son was diagnosed with that after years of complaining of stomach aches..part of it was stress and internalizing his feelings, (one of his teachers was a real biotch and they finally fired her sorry ***...she really hated him because she was a rotten teacher and he was a gifted student and she sucked at meeting anyone's needs in that class) but anyhow, the doctor felt he probably had a touch of IBS as well so we avoid certain foods like milk, chocolate, etc. Do some reading and ask your doctors if they think it could be that. Eat lots of fibre and drink lots of water.
If you haven't gotten a colonoscopy done you should to rule out colitis or crohn's disease.
Good luck.

more tests.... ct scan of pelvis....or mri...some tumors are so small that cant be detected by ultrasound, with ct scan, even abscess can be seen....so go back to your doc and keep searching...pain is a sign of disturbance in ur nerve endings...can be a growth, or inflammation, whatever it is...it should be looked at...hav u had pap smear, when does the pain get worse...during your period...after ...or all the time...and describe the pain to ur doc...
