We can't say Merry Christmas, Can't have Christmas Programs in schools. This bothers me because this is what Christians call it. Why do we have to bend over to change that for other religions?

It's not that I DON"T care about other religions. We have a friend we celebrate Hannukah with. However, It's Christmas Dammit and that is what I'm gonna stick to!

I don't know why.. I may not be a Christian, but I won't be offended by anyone saying Merry Christmas. I know that I belong to a religion that isn't mainstream, though it is a religion, and that doesn't bother me. But I will go "Happy Yule" or Samhain or what ever the holiday in my religion it is!

You can say "Merry Christmas" anytime you wish...that's your choice.

I prefer to address my greetings accordingly to my friends. For example if my friend is Jewish, I will say "Happy Hannukak"; if one is African-American and celebrates Kawanzaa I will say "Happy Kawanzaa"; if one is Muslim I will say "Happy Eid" and so on and so on. I'm very blessed to have such a diverse group of friends. And if I'm not sure a simple "Happy Holidays" will suffice.

Christmas pageants, celebrations, etc should be left to Christian churches; just as Hannukah or Eid celebrations, etc should be left to their respective churches as well.

Public Schools and the workplace are not the forum for religious themes.

Thanks for letting me share & peace.

that persons think of actuality is relative to each somebody. no longer permitting human beings to precise their perception no count if it is a christian or an atheist. thinking that if there are undesirable christians then God doesnt exist..via fact that while does a bad son make it so as that the dad must be undesirable then? while human beings take the bible out of context. while christians think of that technological know-how and faith can't coexist. seek for the actuality in spite of if it takes a life-time!

Why are you so unconcerned with offending people? Do you think that you are better then them?

You are allowed to call it Christmas, that is perfectly fine. However, public schools are not churches, and anything that is funded by people from all faiths cannot support any one faith.

As long as i get presents I couldn't care less what you call christmas, you can call it shitmas for all i care. If you don't care about offending other religions you shouldn't get angry when people offend your religion. Religion is all a bunch of bullsh!t anyways.

Why is it that so many Christians are confusing a bit of simple courtesy with "bending over"?

I just published a piece about that today.

Public schools are paid for by everyone and are for everyone's kids--you do realize this, right?

I'm as far from a Christian as one can get, but I have no problem calling Christmas, well, Christmas. People are trying to please everyone and be entirely too politically correct these days. It's dumb. They don't even want Christmas *decorations* in schools anymore!

Happy Holidays sums it all up for all religions.

I believe in acceptance and tolerance, rather than criticizing and judging other religions, other races, cultures. This is peacefulness!
