Guess that really depends on how you mean to "protect" them.

Daily care is the best first step. Brushing, flossing, seeing your dentist for regular check-ups, and so on.

In a more direct way of "protecting" them, I guess a mouthguard would really be the best option.

But, all in all, brushing at least twice a day or after every meal is ideal, flossing after you brush and using mouthwash helps, too, keeps your teeth, gums and breath protected. :D

Brush at least once daily and rinse with a mouthwash of either 50% hiydrogen peroxide or an alcohol based product which will kill bacteria in the mouth.

I have a question of my own.....what are you protecting them from but my advice is brush...i dont have the patience to floss but if you do then go for it, if you want them whiter then use the crest whitestrips..i did..they really work...avoid physical contact (not kissing etc but punching....) with your mouth and try not to walk into stationary objects...such as doors oh yah - go to the dentist...they scare me but whatever

The health benefits of peroxide:

Take one capful (the little white cap that comes with the bottle) and hold in your mouth for 10 minutes daily, then spit it out. (I do it when I bathe).

And of Course:

Brushing and flossing EVERY DAY!

Trust me you teeth will be very healthy!!!
