when i open my picture's folder i cant see thumbnails?

i can see the thumbnails but i doesnt show the pic unless i open it how can i fix it

i have it on thumbnail view but it shows icons not pic previews, do i need to up date something?

click on the View tab and select thumbnails..

Right clic on an empty space in your folder then select display, thumbnails

go to view and select thunbnails. thats all.
