Most answerers are Christians. Many answers assumed no particular religion. Muslims may well kill a stranger, so their religion doesn't really apply. Anyway, you DID ask the question in the category "Religion and Spirituality".

It never occurred to me that the question might be related to any religion or belief. I read it as a humanitarian question, and answered accordingly.

MOst of the answers I read had nothing to do with Christianity. They had to do with personal choice and experience.
