Why are some people so 'hard hearted' and cruel to animals?

I cannot understand why anyone would want to hurt or even kill companion animals such as cats..or engage in dogfighting, hog-dog fighting, or cockfighting..people who are deliberately cruel to animals totally disgust me. Consider what some of them turn out to be...rapists, child molesters, serial killers...What's so funny about harming an INNOCENT dog or cat?

also what would you do if you knew someone in your neighborhood was involved in dogfighting, cockfighting, or other types of animal abuse?

It isn't funny. I work in rescue and it still amazes me the cruelty people bestow on innocent animals. When you think it can't get any worse, it does. The things I have seen....still make me sick to my stomach when I think about them.

i agree with you one hundred percent. you see there are psychopaths that do anything to harm a totally innocent animal. kfc is one of thousands of places and people that do this kind of things. but did you ever think that all the meat you eat comes from cows that are hanging upside down while being fully conscious. the guy comes with a big machete and chops its head and underneath the animal lies a big blood collector bucket.

please go vegan . it makes me sad and it makes me cry to see so many people around the world kicking ,and banging the heads of cats dogs and other animals and slaughtering them for food.

in china they kidnap cats dogs and put them in lobster sized cages and thrown them off the truck and onto the floor and then they kick them and eat.

go on peta's site and see the real videos themselves. it shows them doing it.


ps i am a pure vegetarian and have never touched meat.

or if you kill the animal , we should kill the person that did it to the innocent creature by taking his heart out and giving it to people that need them.

Even scarier, if they hurt an innocent animal, what might they do to a human? We had a cat in my town that was found extremely brutalized and I don't allow my kids to go anywhere near that neighborhood it was found in. It scares me to death that someone can inflict pain on ANY living creature and not care at all. Unfortunately there are tons of sickos in this world.

Some people are so upset that sometimes they take there anger and frustastion on animals, people who do dog fighting ect. usally do it for money, gambling and entertainment. Its a very sad thought when people do that. some people are just plan sick and think they can get joy out of it but wheres the joy in that?!

Studys show that if a person is mean too animals the have very low intelligence some kind of retarded gene they carry! i think the law should be whatever they do too the animal should be done too them an eye for an eye!

Why would anyone want to be cruel to anyone? It happens. It's a sad part of life. Hopefully, people like you and other humanitarians can work together to end unnecessary suffering and end cruelty towards everyone - animals and humans alike.

Because they know that the animal can't kick their *** like a human would. They're cowards.

Anyone who abuses an animal is a potential child abuser or spouse abuser....that's a documented fact.

I totally agree with you. What is wrong with these people? I have to believe it is some psychological defect. Animals are so innocent. Some people are just monsters.

unfortunately lots of people don't see what people like us see when looking at an animal.They see animals as money makers, forms of cruel entertainment,etc...anything but what they truly are.i pity these people,they don't know what there missing.
