many religious people always say that atheists should ask god to come into their lives or to look for a sign.
because we don't know what he looks like, how do we know god has answered our calling.

When the phone rings and you know who it is before you
pick it up.
When you sing a song, and turn the radio on and it's palying.
There is supposed to be a sign taking place right now.
Our eyes being drawn to the clock at 11:11.
And when you look and look for our keys. And look some more, and can't find them. And suddenly, there they are, right
in plain sight!
Thats' Spirit letting us know there is more going on than some want to BELIEVE!
But many will "explain it all away", like they do everything!

I don't think God is a HE. It's not a "big Daddy in the Sky" kind of thing. It's a power of goodness that we have in the Universe. To make it simple - God is Love.
Whenever you feel love or feel happy - that is God. I get so many many signs from God everyday. If I am feeling sad and then I see a cute dog smiling at me - that's God. If I'm angry and all of the sudden there is a little tiny bit of me that KNOWS I'm blessed to have the life I have - that's God. If I'm confused and the confusion is so bizarre that I laugh about it - that's God. God is in all of us - and God is everything. Finding it is simply looking for the Good and the Love.

It can be anything from something obvious to something subtle. I was given a sign to help out in my church's office when a nun walked up to me and, out of the blue, asked if I ever thought about it. You might say that's a coincidence, but there was nothing in the conversation to indicate that they needed the help or that I was looking to help until she asked. I took the job and had a lot of fun. That's subtle.

He was saying that his death and ressurrection is the sign that you are to believe. If you fail to believe that then nothing else will convince you.

When I was in between atheist and christian, I asked God if he was real, and he really didnt want me to have premarital sex to give me a sign. Then night I decided to lose my virginity, my boyfriend could not perform. Is that a sign, or a coincidence, or was he just a wussy?

I was just talking about this with someone the other day. they kept telling me "pray to god to show you a sign" i told them, i dont believe like that. i dont believe god shows signs, or that he should have to, if god exists then he will look on peoples hearts, and he wont condemn people to hell for believing in god but not believing the bible.
after all, any "sign" can be a number of probabilities and coincidences.

people see signs all the time they just don't know how to read it because they dont understand God speaks to our hearts when we are given a warning a deep feeling we shouldn't do something but we do it anyway and find ourselves in trouble its because we didn't listen seek and you shall find Faith is the evidence of things unseen you have to take things on faith take it as sign when you woke up this morning God has something for you still do do there is a reason for your waking up

I am not at liberty to say because i do not read the bible and i God hasn't spoken to me and told me anything about any sign.
He told me however to live my life to the best of my ability and in a way that i think he would want me to. And that is what i am doing.

I say, a person knows in their heart when the divine is trying to contact them. Just live your life, and if anything you see or experience moves you deeply, take it as a hint as to what you should do.
