I have an extensive DVD collection, and I want to back them up and store them in another location so that I can always have the movies that I purchased since I have put so much money into my collection. I have a ROXIO program to burn them, but I can't burn backup copies due to copyright protection. Are there any programs out there that are legitimate, free or otherwise that I can use. I don't intend to sell them, and I still can't find a program to burn them... Please help

Download DVD Decryptor and DVD Shrink.
Then you can use Roxio to do the final burn.

Go to www.slysoft.com and download a trial of ANYDVD. I believe you get 21 days of "trial" use. After that, you can buy it for a reasonable price. Using this little program will allow you to use your Roxio software to back-up your DVDs.

Good luck.

And its because of people who steal music and movies we gotta deal with bullsh*t like that!!! An honest person wants to back up their movies and has trouble doing it because of thieves and stupid copyright protection technology!
