Absinth.
Be careful though, it's the drink that caused Picasso to cut his ear off.
To get some in the US, you'd have to buy it in another country and then sneak it across the border.
You might be able to sneak it through the Detroit/Windsor border.

Absinthe. I think there are only a couple of countries that it is legal in (Czech Republic and Portugal). It tastes awful (it is wormwood flavored-yum). I had some in college when my friends came back from a trip to Czech Republic. You do shots by getting a spoonful of sugar, moisten the sugar with the absinthe and then light the spoon on fire. Once the sugar is bubbly and caramelized, you stir the spoon into your shot. It really wasn't worth all of the fuss; you could probably find moonshine easier (and it would get you just as buzzed and probably taste better)

The drink is Absynth. You cannot purchase it in the US but you can have it shipped in from another country. You just have to search on the internet for it.
They have a special way to drink it as well. There's a special spoon that you put over a glass, put a sugar cube in the spoon, and then pour the Absynth over.
I've had a shot straight before, but I never notcied anything strange. The taste is disgusting to me though. Tastes like black licorice.

According to Wikipedia, absinthe is no more hallucinogenic than any other liquor with the same alcohol content.

It's called Absynthe, but you can't get it here. Besides, you don't want to even bother with it due to the fact that it can kill you (contains wormwood)

Are you talking about absinthe? You can't get it in its pure form in the U.S.
