To the people answering "The same as regular AF"....I don't know anything about regular AF boot camp...so that doesn't tell me much.

Just check the list of the stuff you're allowed to take with you. Sunscreen, a beach towel, cosmetics kit, dental dam, a picture of your mother, binoculars for birdwatching, ten comic books, two stuffed animals, and a big bag of candy to share with everybody. If you can play the guitar and know all the words to "Michael Row the Boat Ashore" and " Kumbaya" they'll make you a platoon leader. And you get an extra cookie at chow. Have fun!

There is NO difference between the regular AF and the Reserves as far as boot camp. They are the exact same.
When your done with boot camp, with the reserves, they take you a different direction as opposed to the regulars who go onto their assignments.

All military basic training courses are very similiar. There is not much difference in treatment during them at all.

As far as AF Reserve... it is the same as the Regular AF.

Here's a joke we used to tell.
The Marines run 15 miles a day.
The Army runs 10 miles a day.
The Navy runs 5 miles a day,
and the Air Force takes the bus.

Compared to Army Basic Training it's a walk in the park.
