I have heard time and time again that the good die young. I am just curious as to why!!?

I don't want to die young because I still have to help people, it almost makes me want to act bad so I don't die.

I have this theory that they manifest there own deaths with there own thoughts.

Has anyone known someone in the past that was a really good person and, all of a sudden they passed away?

Very holy people die just as commonly as very secular people.

Some young. Some old. Some VERY young. Some VERY old.

They do not manifest their own death. Unless they are careless and walk out in front of a bus or something.

So I wouldn't sweat it.

Everyone dies. If you believe in god, why would you believe that he makes good people die? People just say that to justify or explain why it SEEMS like only the good die young. It's not really true. For crying out loud! My sister died at the age of 23 of ovarian cancer. I didn't blame anyone for it. She got a disease and died. She was a good person. My father-in-law died of prostate cancer. He wasn't a good person. It's a roll of the dice. Random.

...You better examine your priorities - Jesus calls his followers to lives of loving service to God and others, and He calls us to follow His example - He suffered and died for our sins, and was raised for us, so we could have a home in Heaven.
...Mark 10:45 says, "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."
...I have no idea what your theory means.
...I like this quote by John Wesley: Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.
...It isn't that you can't enjoy yourself - no one serves all the time, but don't lead a selfish, self-focused life, either - the rest of the world lives that way, and Jesus calls us lives of service.
