you wouldnt want to go there.....no..in short you are responsible for the entire opreration from the ordering of food to the bus boy that picks up the dishes ...and i mean everything if some one doesnt show you may have to fill in ....i had to wash dishes in a place i managed and it just has to be done....your hours are not set ...you dont work on a clock you work salary that way you can be there 24/7and whenever something is wrong it falls back on you ....your responible for the money and even to the losses . you will find it is diffucult to find good help ...and boy watch out after payday as then everyone seems to call in sick....and all that is dealing with the help tthen you got all the customers to deal with.....then your vendors forgot to send some of your order and your out of that item and its the type of job noone appreciates except the owner as long as he is showing a large profit.....and you might as well forget a social life and there is none ....enjoy!!!!!

It depends what part of the restaurant? Kitchen, Dining Room, Bar, General Managers all have different responsibilities. They all share scheduling, cost control, customer service responsibilities.
