I lost my son 6 years ago when he was 6 but what I remember about him was his love of life. he was always laughing--even at the stupidest things on Tv. He loved to hug and kiss. No matter how bad things got he always gave me a reason to go on..In my worst days he made me laugh.
He would say the funniest things and just crack everyone up. Being a parent to me meant that I was finally important and that I had to grow up because there was a beautiful precious little life that depended on me.

I guess the best part of being a parent is watching my daughter grow and become self sufficient. I was lucky being a dad that my daughter took interest in all the things i do. She would copy me, we would stay up all week end sleeping on the floor and watching comedies or movies. Listening to her laugh and then asking me why it was so funny. She laughed because I did. Teaching them something and then watching them use the knowledge you have taught is wonderful and makes you feel like the greatest person in the world. Just watching them mature into an adult is the best feeling a parent can have. At least that is my opinion. Good luck and enjoy and be patient.

All the special moments we share , also the things you can learn form them as parents and that you can finally understand our own parents. The way you can protect them and make them in dependable at the same time.. But most important the love and comfort to see them grow day by day making sure they are happy kids, of course we have our bad moments but does are less than the good moments we can have together !!!! That will be my favorite part of being a mom!!!:)

My favorite thing about being a parent is seeing my kids grow. Finding out new things they learn. Hearing some of the crazy things they say. Watching them sleep, eat and laugh. Wanting them to be happy and healthy. Picking them after school. Seeing them in the morning after getting out of work. Having them around. Asking them questions. Just loving them.

Theres so many things I can't pick just one
*theres the feeling of love I get when I look at my son.
*my pride in him when he learns something new.
*seeing every day things as something exciting in his eyes.
*loving & being loved by someone no matter what my hair looks like or what mood I'm in.
*the feeling I get when he says he loves me for no reason.
Once you become a parent your whole life, your opinions and thoughts, your hopes, everything changes, things that were important become nothing when you compare it to your child. I thought my life was fantastic before I had my son but now, I know that it was empty and nothing. My son has changed my life for the better, he's my reason for everything.
I thank god for him every minute of the day, even when he's a monster I know I'm truly blessed

I love watching my son grow and learn. I notice him trying to do something, failing at it, but then trying again. The next day he will be able to do it, and with each passing day he gets better at it. He gives me hope. He reminds me that everything is worth working on.
Seeing the way he loves is also a reward of being a parent. I can see the love in his face, and that gives me the motivation to keep the love in my face.
He teaches me how to be a better human because his humanity hasn't been tarnished yet. I hope that I never contribute to that tarnishing.

My 1yo daughter lays on my chest right before she goes to sleep. I'm like a big body-pillow to her.
My 5yo has an infectious laugh and gets the hiccups when he laughs too hard. It makes everyone in the room laugh too.
