if a man you really liked said he'd have date you a year before you could become intimate? Meaning both of you would do nothing sexual together or ALONE!

I'm already walking out the door. It's one thing to put sex off for a year but not being able to do anything sexual for a year?! Screw that! Why would I put myself out like that when its not a 100% definite thing that it would even be good sex? Or even a relationship that would make it a year? No way!

Sex isn't everything but it is very important. No sex for a year would make me think something is wrong with him. In my entire life Ive only had a guy deny me 1 time and that was only to prove some childish point of his. And why would I want to spend a year with someone not knowing how they are ? What if they completely suck ? Ive wasted a year then.

Well, I would think that he was interested in having a real relationship with me, not one where sex is involved or the motivating factor for being together. It would tell me that he wants a solid foundation for a relationship. So you won't know what you're getting in the sex department, neither will he. Who says that you have to try the milk before you buy the cow?

You would really have to do some personality evaluation with him after saying something like that.

I'm the skeptical type and it has really kept me afloat all my life, so definately be skeptical and weigh everything out, and FEEL HIM OUT first.

Could bea number of reasons, he could have a disease that he doesnt want to spread, and wants to gain feelings before dropping that news on you, he could be married and need an excuse not to come home with a shrunk d!ck (yes, ladies, you can tell if your man recently had a "***" episode!), or he may just be reserved!

Follow your intuition, PLEASE!!

everyone is different when it comes to this.
if both parties are in favor then why not?
i think people rush into being intimate and forget about getting to know the real person you're committing to....hmmm....rising divorce rate....think there's a connection???

Totally cool with that, i wud want to spend time getting to know him well. But their should be small intervals of intimacy( not all the way), to let u know he finds u sexually attractive.
