Why was your son not turned over to you after they put your husband away, where is your son now, and most important and I don't mean this to be rude were u a fit mother or was there a reason your husband had sole custody?? Can u fill in all that infor. Contact Legal aid in the state u live in if u can't afford an attorney, also try contacting Child Protection Services, or your local department of human services. You should automatically get custody if he is in jail, unless there is some reason that he got sole custody in the first place? Need more info... Talk to a lawyer.

You don't say where your child is, which makes it hard to answer. When a person is arrested, they automatically lose custody so it should be as easy as filing for custody and if you are a fit parent, the court will award you custody.

Well it should be simple! talk to the cops to guide you to that place when your child is, and claim him, with birth certificate and the paper wich atested that youre child is gave it to youre husband! Normally, in 2 weeks, you should have youre child!
