Well, i think i like him, i am really not sure if i love him. We have known each other for couple years. I really liked him before, but he didn't then i think. But like for last 3 weeks he was flirting with me, and suddenly he wasn't contacting me. And today, like a week later since then, i saw him at our workplace, and he was like nothing really happened, like we are friends. And like everything is fine. But however he isn't talking online with me as he used to. Like he got kinda cold.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with falling in love with someone who is 3 years younger. There are age differences in relationships that are much larger than that. The only time that an age difference may be of concern is while dating during your teen years because there is such a difference in maturity levels.

First, you should ask yourself if you're really in love with him though. Since you liked him and then didn't, but now you're having feelings again, are these feelings of deep love or are they more flirtatious? I think it's difficult to know if it's love until you're actually in a relationship with the other person.

Give him a call and suggest that you get together for a date. As you spend more time together, you can explore these feelings of love.

There is nothing wrong with 3 years difference. My man is younger then my and I love him with all my heart. You cant put a limit on love if the love that is there is real. Just give it all time. What is suppose to happen will happen, thats just how it is. You cant help who you love or their age, and never let anyone get you down because he is younger. If you really love him in your heart then go with your feelings and no one elses. Good luck to you and your sweetheart.

There is no right or wrong age difference. Love is love. You sound as if you might be young-possibly a teenager. If this is the case you have many years of dating ahead of you before you settle down. If you like this boy and you think he likes you but is now keeping his distance play it cool and dont chase him. He will come around if it was meant to be. Keep yourself busy but still available if he calls.

Hubby is 5 years younger than me... been married 5 years & we still love each other.
The age difference may have started bothering the guy you like... the difference does matter a lot to some people.

i find nothing that he is doing to make you confused, all guys flirt with there friend and most of the time it means nothing . and if your 3 yrs older than him then maybe you should be looking some where in your age group remember girls are more mature then guys so stick to your own age groups

People are [people, reguardless of age, however.... before taking on a decision like that, you should both be consenting adults.Depending on charecteristics of the couple, things can work out reguardless of age gaps. There can be legal complications if one is under age. There are complications in any relationships, and it is more difficult if you can not relate to day to day things like music, attitudes, etc.

well u can't help ur feelings. he's acting funny so u can't tell if he's just flirting or he does like u. i think u should leave him alone because he's younger and not as mature as u are. try to find someone ur own age or older and if u still like him maybe he'll see u with someone else and get jealous i once read that a boy dosen't want u as much until he sees u with someone else.
