I believe so. Sometimes I crave salty and other times sweet and when it's my time of the month I crave both. Go figure!

The glands and your specific Aureveda dictate that kind of preference in Asian medicine...

I don't think American physicians would know, share it if they did, or even care?

But from an "American medical" position. I would assume that it has something to do with your need for specific body functions to regulate, The kind that either salt regulates or complex carbs regulate... The brain needs sugar and the blood needs salt?
