No, it is not real. Most pregnant ladies who've diminish again tattoos can obtain epidurals. The exception could be if the tattoo covers a tremendous discipline and remains to be "contemporary" — that means the worried dermis remains to be treatment. Actually, only a few experiences have appeared on the dangers of epidurals in ladies with diminish again tattoos. But there's no conclusive proof of any hostile results, such an accelerated chance of an contamination. Most anesthesiologists will deliver an epidural block to a pregnant lady with a diminish again tattoo. However, they are going to attempt to restrict hanging the needle by way of the tattoo to restrict a small scar that can disfigure the tattoo. If viable, the anesthesiologist will insert the needle by way of dermis that is not tattooed. If you have got a diminish again tattoo and feature questions or issues involving your capacity to get an epidural, seek advice your health practitioner.

Ive never heard that. My lower back is so messed up that my epidural had to be put between my shoulder blades. So if someone has a lower back tattoo they could use higher up on the spine to inject.

no. tattoos don't interfere with any medical proceedures. however, if you are thinking about getting a lower back tatto, please think again! any respectable tattoo artist, or tattoo conisuer, or... well, most other people will tell you there is nothing more cliche than The Girl with the Flowers on her Lower Back, or The Girl with the Tribal Design on her Lower Back.
tattoos are supposed to be unique and original, thats what makes them sexy and cool!
