100 lbs is a lot to lose. I would focus on feeling good and looking good. The following is what I did.
Burn more calories than you eat.
Cut your fat intake.
Eat three cups of fat free low cal yogurt a day (make sure it has live cultures in it) and pineapples. This helps you break down your food.
Do 45-60 min. of aerobic exercise a day (preferably before you eat in the morning). This will attack the fat. Try to supplement your training with some running, running stairs or hills, and cycling. Mix it up, it will keep your body guessing.
Do 30 min of weight training three times a week. This will build lean muscle which will in turn burn fat.
Keep moving all the time. Tap you feet while at the computer, tap you hands on your legs while walking. Keep moving and keep burning calories.
I lost 40 lbs in two months and have kept it off for three more months doing this. I also took my body fat % from 30% to 14% and my waist from 36 inches to 32 inches.

Cut back on calorie intack and eat low fat foods, Drinking water when you feel like eating. Try to start and exercise program, like start by taking a 5 minuet walk then increase the the walk by 5 min a week. Also try Weigh Watchrs they have online programs that are really helpful. I guessing you do not want to go the Gastricc bypass route.

Step by step...slowly. Gastric bypass...no way. That's just nuts.
Start slow...don't go for the 100 pounds, go for the half a pound a week...it's going to have to be baby steps. Substantially increase water intake to free up the kidneys. This will enable the kidneys to do their job without the liver's help. The liver freed up, can focus on processing fats. Maybe this will help

time taken to lose weight shouldn't be rushed if you lose it fast you are more likely to put it back on. Eat small meals often and drink a glass of water before each meal and don't forget to exercise to tone up your body

Don't just remain there! Do squats while brushing your teeth, calf raises even though standing in line, or lunges while chatting for the phone.
