Hopefully this time you will get it, along with all others who believe Catholics worship Mary. No they don't. She is put on the highest status among all women. All women, even the Muslims say the same thing. Only if they read their Quran, they will see it.
What is absurd is people like you who keep asking the same question over and over again. You get the answer, and still you come again asking the same absurd question. What! do you want them to say what you want, and you are not getting the answer.
Here is the answer for you again:
SHE is not worshipped, SHE is honored above all women.
did you get now. I hope so.
Good day to you m8

I'm an ex-Catholic. It's a real thin line between worship and honor. When I was little, it was Mary that I had a sense of relationship with. Jesus was this far away dude way up behind the altar, whereas Mary was the central image at the side altar where my mom would always take us to say our "Mary prayers."
For all of May, we kept small blue flowers in a vase that was also a statue of Mary and knelt in front of it to say our bedtime prayers.
Officially, Mary is a saint, and the one with the most direct line to the top. Unofficially, it doesn't take any vast intelligence or study to realise that Mary is the reinterpretation of the feminine divine from pre-Christian days. That's one of the reasons why folks get so edgy about whether it's worship or not.
In my experience, it didn't really matter.

I think Catholics really miss polytheism, its not enough to have the trinity, they have to worship Mary and the saints and the choir of angels as well. Whatever...it's all made up anyway
I don't find it any more absurd than worshipping Jesus or Mohammed or the Flying Spaghetti Monster. At least FSM worshippers have their tongues firmly planted in their cheeks and have a sense of humour.

Actually, they pray through the Virgin Mary, as an intervention to GOD the FATHER...
Its wrong though, because JESUS says that HE is the only way to the FATHER...
Not disciples, Apostles, Saints, Mary, or anyone else. By doing so, your committing a sin against our LORD, JESUS CHRIST, because your trying to bypass HIM. It isnt going to work.
Your committing a bigger sin, by asking someone else instead of our LORD for what you want. HE is the answerer of prayers, not Mary or any other Saint.
Oh, by the way, on Sainthood, if yo check with your Bible, (which you will find most Catholics dont even read it, just get what ever the Priests tell them and they believe that), well, any one who is Saved, is a Saint!
So, they may as well pray to some one in the Church who happened to be saved, and they would get the same results...NOTHING!
Unless Satan is answering them to keep them in the darkness and he is a rascally fellow for sure, so, there are many Catholics who are under his spell...
I wish you well

What is absurd is your statement that Catholics worship Mary. That would constitute idolatry, and if you took the time to look it up in the Catechism of the Catholic Church (searchable online versions are available) you would see that the Catholic Church absolutely condemns idolatry in every form - which it defines as "giving to any creature the solemn worship that belongs to God alone".
Of course we ask Mary to intercede for us. Why wouldn't we? We ask other Christians here on earth to intercede for us. Mary is a Christian, is she not? She is alive, is she not (since Christ said that all who believe in Him will never die)? Then why would I not ask another living Christian to pray for me? Especially one who is so dear to Jesus that He performed His first miracle at her request, even though the time ordained for Him to do so had not yet come?

*siiiiigh. This question again...*
Catholics don't worship Mary, they respect her as the mother of their god. What's absurd is that you bothered using up five points on this question, when this same exact question has been asked about a thousand times on here.

They don't worship Mary. It's a common misconception.
As someone else stated, they respect her as the mother of Jesus.
Someone explained to me that they ask her to pray to Jesus with them and for them. I personally don't do this, but now that I understand their reasons, I don't have a problem with it.

It is simply to affirm that females as well as males can achieve the highest spiritual level. Don't forget that many religions are strictly male-only clubs. And I have to agree w. you that religion IS absurd.
