Double-click the little speaker icon the the task bar (if its not there go to Start > Control Panel > Sound and Audio Devices) once the Sound and Audio Devices dialog appears click Options > Properties choose Recording then click OK (not sure what kind of sound card you have) but the choice will either be WAV or Stereo Mixer click the Select check box as for the recording volume put at about half, if its too high it'll sound terrible.

What do you mean by interenet sound? streaming audio on the net? Well you can use your soundcards recording feature by recording with the WAV option instead of the microphone.
