I didn't accept Christ because I was afraid of hell. I accepted Him because I realized He loved me and that I did want to follow Him. If I were only a Christian because I was afraid of hell, I don't think I would be happy. I also think those who try to convert people by threatening them are not sharing their faith in a way that is pleasing to the Lord.

Yes I would and the threat of hell isn't slapped in my face as you see it. It is eternal separation from God and from Jesus and no way do I want that. The more I studied and learned about Jesus, the more I know I do not want to be separated from him. THAT is why I am a Christian.

The threat of hell was never slapped in my face.
I'm not a Christian because of the idea of hell.
I'm a Christian because I love God and follow him in the footsteps of Christ Jesus.

The very simple thing you seem to be missing is that the threat of hell no longer exists once you become a Christian. Your fear theory is based on your own feelings, not the reality of our salvation in Jesus Christ. I urge you to actually educate yourself before you make further false statements.
Hell has no power over me. It's not a possiblity. Nor will death hold me down. My wrongs are gone and love has taken their place. My life is fuller than it ever was before I found God. Are you sure that you aren't the one who can't see what's right in front of you?

Yes, because I would still appreciate the other half of Jesus Christ's Atonement, which makes resurrection possible. The pain of separation from loved ones, and watching those suffering from the effects of age and disease only make me look forward with a brighter hope for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

I'm a christian and believe that hell is bulls@$t. Think about who wrote the bible, people who believed in fairies and monsters. You have to be a realist as well when you believe in God. God is good right? so your good God would not put any of his loved creations through hell. I believe that their might be a purification process before getting to heaven but definitely not a hell.

Sure would because Christ's way is the best way and for the record, hell is not slapped in my face. That's for unbelievers.

It isn't, and I am.
I am looking forward to living forever in paradise on earth, in perfect health. That is my hope.
If I fail to live up to God's requirements for life, then I will be dead - out of existence - forever. The wages of sin is death, not eternal life being tortured.
