I believe everyone should have a right to live here as long as they promise to obey the law, and come here legally. Also, there is no official language of the United States. Our de facto language is English and common sense states that if you wish to reside in a country it would be in your best interest to learn the language!

Well, technically, I guess so, but aren't they already citizens?
I would not move to say France, or the heart of Mexico and expect their government to continually provide English or special programs for me. I would want to speak the language of the land.
These people can learn to speak English without giving up their culture or give up their pride in who they are as human beings.

I don't think thats the case- in my opinion the more you know (languages etc) the better- I do think you should speak the overall language of the country you intend to stay in the a way that you can get around and be understood- that's just logical.
