certain he would have been extremely upset, and sad at the events of JESUS death. after all he was JESUS dad and seeing his son tortured in such a manner would be hard for any dad to tolerate.

never heard of st Joseph if you mean his step father I suspect nothing as he knew it was God's will Jesus could have stopped it at any time but did not.

Actually latest scientific evidence shows that only those who believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster will be saved and go to heaven. So there are no christians in Heaven, and St.Joseph is in Hell with all the others.

I'm sure he would have been powerless to do anything. There were many people around who loved Jesus, and they would not have been able to stop what was happening. I'm sure it would have been no different for Joseph.

Stood by Mary's side, offer to carry the cross of the child he helped raise. He'd understand, as Mary did, that this was all part of God's plan.

I think he would have been much like Mary, they both knew Jesus had a destiny to fulfill.I think he would have been tormented but not interfere with GOD and His plan.

I know if it was me(i was St.Joseph) i would have died trying to get him off that cross just to see him live and teach us all not only live 33 yrs old.... he could have really changed this world we say is our HOME.... well i believe that we are living in purgatory.
