I am a grown adult and it is time for me to make grown up decisions so in the future if I need advice from you or anyone else I know your number and where you live until then I want my space and I have a place your a great and wonderful mother but sometimes I need to do what I think is best for me if it is a mistake then I am willing and able to handle it all on my own! I love you. I care about you and you will always be my girl but sometimes a man has got to be able to be A MAN I don't want to hurt you but right now please let me contact you in the future until I feel like talking to you don't worry but except the fact that I want to be left alone unless you really and I do mean really have to contact me (a case of life or death or along that line.) I don't want to have to change my number or to move so please respect my wishes and I will call you when I feel up to it but right now I am in no mood to really talk to anybody and that is just the way it is. Good Bye for now I will call you at a later date and hang up .

Write her a letter and tell her that you feel it's in your best interest to stop communicating with her. Tell her what she does to monopolize your relationship and that it's unacceptable. Ask her not to contact you any further unless she's willing to make changes. And then just don't answer the phone/door/emails that you may receive from her. Communication is a two person activity! If you don't communicate back, she'll eventually stop because it's not getting her anywhere. Manipulators need to see the fruits of their labor, so if she doesn't get anything from her efforts she'll move on to something that she does get a result from!

Good luck. Stopping a relationship with family is the hardest thing to do. But realizing that it needs to happen is the first step, so good job!

Aproach her face to face and tell her I am not interested in playing head games or any other games, I would like you out of my life when I am ready to deal with you I will contact YOU but other then that stay away.. And then turn and walk off, Don't let her say anything or give a chance for her to say anything. . I did the same thing with my mom. And its been 9yrs and she is still up to her old tricks but she got the clue and has not come around.

If she is good at head games, them may be you want to tell her on the phone, or write her a card. Tell her you need some space, and that you hope that she can understand, you need to sort out your life. To have a good life, and take care of yourself!

Call her and tell her with an attitude that way she'll be so mad she won't want to see you or talk to you wich is what you wanted but try not to be disrespectful. Then when you want you could call her and act nice.
