It depends on what you're looking for. Here are my comments:

Tokyo: ultra-expensive. But, so cool. You have modern buildings next to really old temples. Plus, the Japanese culture to me is the best in Asia. They take pride in everything. I liked the Roppongi entertainment district. Lots of electronics shopping (most advanced).

Hokkaido: I've never been to the north island of Japan, but it's probably very nice traditional japanese country/culture. Less expensive than Tokyo. Probably good, but still $$$.

New Delhi: Never been there, but I've heard about the terrible poverty and overcrowding there. It's not on my list of places to see.

Seoul: Good town. I like the food. Seoul is an expensive city. Great place to shop, especially the questionabl legal Itaewon market near the Army base. To me, I would spendn't spend anentire vacation in Seoul, although I liked South Korea and the people. Also, cool thing was that you can take a short trip up to the DMZ with North Korea and go visit South Korean tunnels to intersect with North Korean tunnels under the border.

Bangkok: Nightlife central. Moderately expensive, but to me nothing like Tokyo or Seoul. The best massages in the world...the Thais are so seriously skilled...it's like an art. I flew into Bangkok and only spent a few days there. Time is better spent at the Thai beaches like Phucket.

Pusan: Haven't been there.

Beijing: Haven't been there, but this is on my list. I've spent a lot of time in Shanghai but never made it over to Beijing. Beijing has the forbidden city, the great wall nearby, etc. I think Beijing would be good.

hongkong: Expensive city/island. I didn't care for it. I didn't see any beaches that I'd swim on. I'm not sure why anyone would go to Hong Kong, or than for business. It's a small place, I didn't really see anything spectacular. Person opinion.

Kuala Lumpur: the only thing KL has is the Petron Towers (I think that they're still the tallest buildings in the world). Cheap hotels, cheap beer and food. But, there's really nothing there other than the Petron Towers. KL is an hour from the airport and I arrived to see nothing spectacular.

singapore: I didn't encounter any beaches worth mentioning. I don't think singapore is known for beach travel. For that I'd go Thailand, Philippines, or Bali (not Singapore). Singapoer to me was western. It like a western city. Very clean adn modern, but not too Asian.
