doesn't matter whether you're mohommedan or anything else. The matter is really, do we execute criminals!

In the UK, the prisons are overflowing (over 80,000). What's wrong with execution - IF you're absolutely certain that the person is guilty.

Crime is a matter of choice and the penalty should NOT BE FAIR. It should in fact balance very badly with the crime. So, if the government decide that the penalty for stealing a bicycle is to be hanged, what's wrong with that? After all, it's your choice whether you want to steal the bike or not. If you know the penalty in advance, it's no good bleating AFTER the event that the punishment is unfair.

If we introduced hanging (or whatever cheaper and more efficient method could be available) for ANY crime of violence (against people or property) the prisons would be almost empty and the planet would be a far safer place. Criminals are not wanted in society - ever!

The taxpayer would save a huge amount of money which could then be safely stored under the mattress :-).

druggies would cease to exist, taking some of the strain off the hospitals and medical services. It would once again be safe to walk down the street.

BtW, this should even be applied to young people. Consider recent cases of teenagers stabbing people to death. Do we want these people, possibly living next door?

Most people would be deterred from committing crimes.

The "bleeding heart liberals" and "do-gooders" always argue that it's no deterrent, however, if it deters just one person, it's done some good. For the others, they've had their chance at life and blown it.

Note however, that probability is no case. One must be certain of guilt before carrying out an execution. This is often the case now, with DNA evidence and/or CCTV.

Executing criminals and thugs is performing a public service.

In the case of moslems however, I suspect that in the backward countries, they still prefer stoning. It's more painful and slower (and remember, NEVER say "Jehovah"!

Lemme wager, the "sunnis" are a sect of the Muslims as antagonistic to the "shiites" that Saddam slaughtered 146 of. Then, they have gotta be on Saddams area, perfect? So i think they are going to protest it. This Ashok guy additionally sounds quite perfect approximately international conflict III being around the nook; by way of fact the Muslims are making particular that the finished extensive international gets against them and it quite is basically a remember of time while the others will all party and wipe the coolest purchase out. Pity, notwithstanding it does look going that way.

U know...what I cant really understand why in America (which is a very "civilized" country) emply electricity to kill people...coz I bet hanging is not only faster, cheaper but it also kills people in a better way...they dont suffer that much. But what I see in the electric chair, is a show and a lot bad intention, and then the one who use it becomes worst than the one who is been punished.
