Legacy yes, beliefs no. I do not believe in religion but i do not see it as a complete negative. For some it has moved them to better themselves. I just don't feel that that is a direction for me. My son is 7 if a friend wants to take him to church he can go. If someone wants to take him to a masc, I let him go because everyone is on this earth for a purpose. What right do i have to stop the experience when to me that's the whole point of life. To live, learn, and experience.

Not necessarily so. Definitely your genes will be passed on. But your legacy and beliefs are passed on only if you ram them down your child's throat.

That would follow the concept of memes. This concept was forwarded by Richard Dawkins as to why cultural ideas progressed from generation to generation.

Essentially shared culture is passed on much like a gene is. As with genes, memes can also evolve. Hence why culture will change and grow instead of stagnating.

dear muslimh,our traditions as muslims and religion beleves can only transfer by teaching and direct affect from parents when the child sees how they are behaving in a society and in the home too,religion is acting and beleive.

Not necessarily. if you raise the child yourself possible but they will have their own mind and should be encouraged to think for themselves.
