Do 25 - 50 crunches, and 25- 50 oblique crunches a day - for the abs. You do not need any machines or anything to buy for this.
For the thighs, squats and leg lunges. Perform 4 sets of 25 (no weights necessary) 3 times a week.
Using a treadmill, to walk, fast walk (this is what I do every other day for 1 hour each time I exercise) or jog or run if you have the endurance. Whatever you are most comfortable with doing. This burns fat, and it is absolutely necessary to do some kind of cardio a few times a week to burn the fat off.
Crunches, Squats and Leg Lifts will not do it alone.
Lastly a low carb diet;but don't make a religion out of it, is very helpful. Be kind, forgiving, and compassionate to yourself always.

Walking is great for burning fat and toning up. Crunches are great for the stomach - try leg raisers they're great too! I do about 100 a day, try starting out with 50 stopping in between. Denise Austin's shape up is excellent - get 5 lb weights to tone your arms that also burns fat.

get a stair stepper...they are $20 at walmart...and get two 2 lb weights to hold while wroking out....the stepper comes with a video...but just stepping up and down on it for 20 to 30 min strait alternating legs is going to wear you out...it will tone your legs and your butt....and your stomach will tone because you will be losing weight..if you want to tone it more, do situps after you do the stepping....30 min a day 5 days a week...you should lose about 10 to 15 lbs a month...which doesnt sound like much, but you will be replacing a lot of the fat with muscle, and muscle weighs more....you its like losing 2 to 4 pant sizes a month

Go to a spinning class, its the best fat burner and toner about. Most gyms do it, its excercise to music on a stationary bike. Sounds silly but its incredible!
