It takes a lot of time and patience to train a new puppy - it won't happen overnight. He's really too young to be left alone for so long without training. If you have to leave him, I'd shut him in the bathroom with a doggy litter box, lined with Puppy Pads, along with some toys and his food and water. When you're home, take him outside about 5-10 minutes after he eats or drinks anything. When he 'goes', praise him like mad and give him lots of pets. Do NOT yell at him, hit him or shove his nose in it when he makes mistakes in the house. He doesn't have the brain to connect the crime with the punishment, and you'll be reinforcing his behaviour by giving him attention when he does it. He'll also learn to fear you in a bad way. If you catch him in the act, so to speak, make a loud noise by clapping your hands, saying NO firmly and loudly (but not yelling) and immediately take him outside. You have to do that every time.
Keep up with the crate training - he'll whine for the first couple of nights, but he'll get used to it and even like it. It took my chihuahua about a week to get used to his crate, and then he started going in by himself when it was his bedtime. They feel safe and secure in there. I would enroll in a dog training course to help you out - it will also socialize him with other dogs, which is very important. Good luck! I love my chi, and he's happy and well adjusted.

Edited to add: Chihuahuas are very social, and leaving them all alone for long periods of time makes them depressed and results in bad behaviour, such as chewing, etc. You'd be best off to either get him a playmate, or to look into doggy day care.

Be firm with him NOW!!! Do not allow him on your bed at night (or day!), crate him and ignore him when you go to bed. By going to him you are rewarding the bad behaviour (whining).
When you go to work, crate him. As long as he has water he will be fine. Dogs dont like to dirty their personal space so he prob wont pee and poo in the crate.
Say no when you need to (in a very firm voice!) and mean it. No giving in coz he looks at you all cute. When he goes out and pees make a big fuss of him (give him a small treat too at the start then wean him off the treats but keep on with the praise), also try using a key word when he wees or poos. We use "busy busy" with ours and when we are in a rush and say the words they will associate that with voiding and do it.
He may be a small dog but you have to show him that you are the pack leader. Be firm. Walk in doors before him, dont let him eat his meal before you do (and DONT give him food from your plate) if you say "down" or "sit" or whatever make sure he does it, even if you have to physically put him where you want him, then praise.
That is really a very brief summary of what you should be doing. The are many online sites which go into training in more details.

You REALLY should've gotten more information before you got him. Did you get him from a pet store? They should've given you information on feeding and training. If you got him from a breeder, they should have some info for you too.
Try putting his crate in another room, this should curb the crying after a little while.
Normally puppies can only hold their urine and feces an hour per month they are old (So your 3 month old can only hold it for 3 hours.) He needs to be let out more often, so either get a pet sitter or a family member to help you.
Put him in his crate when you leave, he shouldn't urinate or deficate in there, they don't like to sleep in that stuff. If he still does, his crate may be too big for him, get a divider.
For everything else try this site: http://www.chihuahuaclubofamerica.com/
You should probably get a book on the breed too.

Chihuahuas are vocal dogs. His whining is normal. If you are crate training, never let him out when he is whining or making a fuss. This teaches him that a fuss will get what he wants.

Do not allow him on the furniture. This is your space. By allowing him on the furniture, you are telling him he is your equal, and he will challenge you to become the leader.

Make sure his food is high quality. Many commercial dog foods contain a lot of corn, by products, preservatives, fillers, dyes, and sugars. This can affect your dogs behavior. Consider switching to a food from http://www.frrco.com/121668 These foods are high quality, you feed less, they poop less because they digest more, and they are made to be non-allergic. It only costs a few cents more per feeding due to the difference in serving size.

Also buy the Pet Force product from that website. One bottle will last a long time, and it will get rid of the urine, feces, and other accidents your dog has in the home. This will keep him from "re-using" accident spots.

Get him a kong and fill it with food to put in his crate and keep him busy.

Take him out every time he wakes up, after he eats, and interrupt his play to avoid accidents.

Taking the delivery manage tablet does now not "false" your frame into pondering it is pregnant. The cause why you continue to have a interval is due to the fact your uterus lining thickens, after which sheds after it realizes there is not any egg implanted there. You're correct approximately the tablet now not inflicting you to ovulate, that's why the uterus lining "sheds" itself. When you omit a tablet, you are lacking the hormones wanted to not ovulate. Every tablet ignored raises the possibilities of ovulating (freeing an egg), due to the fact you would not have the ones proper quantity of hormones to restrict that from going down. The placebo tablets are there most commonly for the females who must don't forget to take a tablet day-to-day, irrespective of what they are doing. If you're well at taking your tablets, and remembering to begin up once more after taking a "week off", you do not ought to take the placebo tablets. That's why so much BCP firms have a 28 day tablet percent or a 21 day tablet percent. The week of the placebo tablets is while you're meant to have your interval. You don't must take tablets in the course of this week, due to the fact it isn't while you could typically ovulate, as a consequence, you don't must take hormones to manage it. Once your interval ends, the uterus slowly begins to construct up a brand new lining in case a fertilized egg will get implanted. That is while it is begins all over the place once more; you start to take the tablets in the course of your average time of ovulation, and restrict an egg from being published. Hope that explains it for you.

You need to take him for dog training! An you shouldn't lock him in a crate at nite - wouldn't you whine if you were in a crate all nite? Unfortunately it doesn't sound like you did ANY research into chihuahuas before you got it.

i fed mine 3x a day at first, and left out dry food at all times, and rubbed nutrastat on the roof of her mouth 2x a day. when you're at work he should be in his crate. i put a piece of newspaper in the corner of the crate, and a nice soft blanket in the other. i kept mine in her crate the first couple of nights (she potty trained in 4 days) then i let her sleep with me ( i bought a ramp so she could get up and down. at this time i still left a piece of paper in the corner, but if we went to bed at 10pm i woke up around 1 or 2 to take her out. then we went back to bed. sure you'll be tired for a while but after a couple of months he'll be able to hold it all night.
