I'm from the U.S. (Kentucky) and while our summers are scorching our winters get cold (average is 20 degrees Fahrenheit) and a leather jacket isn't enough to keep us warm.....but for the fall they are good and I just recently bought one. So, will it keep me warm or do I need to bring something thicker? Thanks for the help!

i'm roman, live in rome, and usually never need more than my leather jacket! :P
of course, sometimes i would need to have a thick sweater under it!
though some people here go around with jackets that would be fit for hicking on the alps, in rome its very very rare for the temperature to go under 0 celsius, and it never lasts for long.

Mine keeps me pretty warm in the winter. It does a good job of blocking the wind.
