Fat cats are just as nice as skinny cats. It also depends on the breed. I have two fat male cats. They are not fat because they eat to much, they started gaining weight when I had them neutered! My 9 month old kitten is skinny! I love the three of them the same way, fat or skinny!!

I have a FAT cat, he's over 20 pounds it's terrible. Vistors just can't get over how big he is. He's a sweety though. The vet says he's healthy other than his weight, he's on prescription low fat food and virtually gets no table scraps, he's just happy being fat. He's a large cat anyway so it's not like he should be an 8 pound cat -- but I do wish he would lose weight so he'd live longer.
I love all cats fat, thin, tall, short, big, little! I would never try to over feed a cat so he would be fat or starve one so he would be skinny. Cats come in all shapes and sizes just like people!

Usually Cats only get Fat when they are indoor animals, Cat do not normally become fat. If they are active cats and still over weight then they might have a serious medical condition. If they are indoor and fat....it's all the more to love!!

I had a fat cat, I adopted him that way. He was the most loving and playful cat I have ever owned.
A lot of cats get fat after they have been fixed...dont know why...just happens. Plus, they usually get their eating habits from their owners. I think my kitty's previous owners fed him constantly, and probably fed him table scaps as well. He was also declawed (bad) so he probably couldnt jump as well as other cats.
He weighed 20+ lbs when I got him...then I exercised him and got him down to a more healthy 16 lbs.
Fat or skiny, I love cats!

wel personally, i LOVE cats however de are.. fat or thin long or short..
but jus like it aint healthy 2b fat if ur a human, its not such a good idea 2b a fat cat, though u mite look a hundred times more cute..
fat cats must b put on a controlled diet.. go easy on the meat n eggs.. have more vegetables in the cat feed..
a fat cat may be good for cuddling, but its not good for the cat's heart n health..
take care!

Fat cats are cool. As long as they're not so fat that they are obese. Those huge cats they show on TV every now and again are sad to look at.

They are great. Lots more to love. The only down side is that if you don't keep the weight under control health problems may arise later. Diabetes, joint problem and bad things with the liver, to name just a few. Other than that they are great. I'd rather cuddle with the fat cat than the skinny one any day.

I have a fat cat... not by choice, he has been on a diet since I got him. He was the cutest little kitten and I fed him less and less and he got huge. He also has a very long body and huge paws so it may just be he was supposed to be that big. In general males are larger than females. He's a great lap warmer and keeps my feet warm when I sleep. So in general he's a good cat.

Personally they are cute and squishable with all that soft flesh. Healthwise it is not good for a cat to be fat. Overweight cats are prone to develop diabetes as they age and the extra weight can also stress joints and make movement painful for them. Plus they can get so heavy that they can no longer reach all the parts of their bodies to keep themselves groomed.

I love fat cats. The fatter the cat the better. They seem more loveable. I have always had a tendency to own cats which are much much bigger than other people's cats.
