some kids threw a quarter keg in a fire and it exploded killing one and injuring a bunch! you think people will learn from them or try to copycat the dumb *** prank>?

this happened in my town...this town is cursed with alcohol related tragedies...this one seemed so unnecasary, someone was quoted as saying that they noticed the keg in the fire...common sense would tell you that this accident may have been preventable...very sad.

I know of some people that did that last summer actually, only using a half keg. They were standing around it like idiots and it knocked everybody over, my friend got his nose completely blown off, they had to lifeflight him 30 miles to the hospital by helicopter. Another one of my friends lost all the hearing in his left ear, and everyone had some bruises/scrapes. Half of the exploded keg flew about 200 feet and hit the tail-gate of another guy's truck, ripping it off completely and also smashed through the back windshield. Whatever you do, do not throw a keg in the fire!

Heard it on Channel 30 News...It's a shame someone so young had to die. Seven other people were taken to Danbury Hospital with injuries also. It really could have been much worse. That's a party nobody is going to forget!

any metal vessel thats air type will explode but add an excelarant and you have yourself a bomb all in needs is high heat . as a kid we try-ed aerosol's coffee tin paint tins etc not advisable to try spent many hours in pain !

It's been done before and will be done again, shows just how stupid people really are. Not to mention in my area you can return those and get the deposit back so money wasted as well.

didnt hear about it, but what a bunch of dummies, I doubt anyone will learn about it, I mean how many people have died or killed someone from drinking and driving, And people are out there still!
