I've heard a quote that said something along the lines of: "We are not earthly beings having spiritual experiences, rather we are spiritual beings having earthly experiences."

It makes me want to experience as much as I can. I've seen a lot of good questions going over the really important things in life, so I want to have a little more fun and see some lists of things that you can do for no other reason than "because you can."

Try to be specific, if your going to say "learn" give me a subject...if you're going to say "travel" give me a place and what to do there.

A few I've thought of:

Learn underwater basket weaving
Go to a tupperware party
Go bowling in Canada
Have blue hair for a day

well you get the idea - have fun.

Fruit_snack - I'm not much of a country fan, but I do really like that song.

Captin_trips - not likely, I'm married, and we're some of those wierdos that actually believe in keeping our vows.

Travel all over the place South America, Nepal, India, the Gallapogus isles and much more. I want to stand on the edge of the Grand Canion or infact any cliff with the love of my life's arms arround me just swaying in the wind, i want to stay up all night talking and making plans with the love of my life, i just want to meet or reunite with the love of my life, the rest is irrelevant as long as it's with them.

When the song below first came out, I went and I bought the cd. The song was so true and had such meaning.

A year later I became very sick, I remember the last set of x rays I had. I was told I was dying and if I were to have any chance at living I needed emergency surgery.

Now that I lived through the surgery, I am greatful to be alive. And I am trying to become that person I never was. I am trying not to be so cold hearted and help others out in need. I help those who are less fortunate then me.

The thing is, I was so sick I never had the chance to live like I was dying. But at that moment, I thought of Tim Mc Graws song and how true it is.

Live Like You Were Dying
( Tim MC Graw)

He said I was in my early forties
with a lot of life before me
when a moment came that stopped me on a dime
and I spent most of the next days
looking at the x-rays
Talking bout the options
and talking bout sweet time
I asked him when it sank in
that this might really be the real end
how?s it hit you when you get that kinda news
man what?d you do

and he said
I went sky diving
I went Rocky Mountain climbing
I went 2.7 seconds on a bull named fumanchu
and I loved deeper and I spoke sweeter
and I gave forgiveness I?d been denying
and he said someday I hope you get the chance
to live like you were dying.

He said I was finally the husband
that most the time I wasn?t
and I became a friend a friend would like to have
and all the sudden going fishin
wasn?t such an imposition
and I went three times that year I lost my dad
well I finally read the good book
and I took a good long hard look
at what I?d do if I could do it all again

and then
I went sky diving
I went Rocky Mountain climbing
I went 2.7 seconds on a bull named fumanchu
and I loved deeper and I spoke sweeter
and I gave forgiveness I?d been denying
and he said someday I hope you get the chance
to live like you were dying.

Like tomorrow was a gift and you got eternity to think about
what?d you do with it what did you do with it
what did I do with it
what would I do with it?

Sky diving
I went Rocky Mountain climbing
I went 2.7 seconds on a bull named fumanchu
and then I loved deeper and I spoke sweeter
and I watched an eagle as it was flying
and he said someday I hope you get the chance
to live like you were dying.
To live like you were dying
To live like you were dying
To live like you were dying
To live like you were dying
