I had a dream last night, and in this dream I was laying on the floor. and a woman wearing a pair of red dress shoes walked up and kicked me in the face. It was a short dream, I woke up right after she kicked me. I distinctly remember the color red from this dream

Red == warning, danger.
woman == desire
kick == rejection.
It looks like you may have some rejection from woman in reality. Being kicked in the face means you are being rejected. Having red projected in your dream could mean it has been a danger sign about it. Maybe in reality, you have experienced some women that turned you away. You subconsciously think that red is the symbol of danger and being kicked is a way to you that you are being rejected.

My mother does dream analysis and such. From what I know from her, the color red indicates passion and/or anger. I don't like the "kicking you in the face" part though. I would focus on that as well.
