Judaism, which created Satan and would know best what he's about, teaches that Satan is an angel of God who does God's bidding, and whose purpose is to benefit mankind through challenges that strengthen man's faith. I.e., he may not seem so, but underneath it all Satan IS a nice guy because he does exactly what God wants him to do.
Christianity did a makeover on Satan for which there is no scriptural or remotely logical explanation other than to scare people into believing whatever they're told by the church to believe.

Your going to hell. You are mocking Jesus, The one who made you and your family, the food you eat the clothes you wear, the shelter you live in, the water you drank. I can't even believe you are using his name as your own. You should be using the name satan.
