I feel without them R&S would have been a boring, sermoning and hateful place
I think God has sense of humour..that z why he made atheists ?

Yes truth seeker, they add much color to the mundaness of life with such thought provoking questions. I love their questions, because they make me question my faith, in which always has room for growth, and remains to be strong through the adversity of others. I find them amusing, and intriguing, and they also tend to be so full of love. I say atheists who are more accepting of themselves, it is they who know even though they may not belive in a god, they know that the key is to be god like, and they do that with such great conviction that others feel intimidated.
I wish you well, and I too seek the truth.

There's no "god" to have made us, but yes, we do make this a colorful place. I'm glad you appreciate it. Can you imagine what a gray, dreary place it would if it were only Christians?
Of course without atheists you'd still have various disagreements, such as those with Muslims and Pastafarians.

Perhaps in that same vein of thought Evolution created religion to promote war and natural selection, or perhaps as a mental debate excercise to increase our brain size. That was jsut in response to the God created us thing.
But yeah, isn't it fun to have us here? And don't forget the Pagans, they also contribute to a colourful place.

Naw, He didn't make Atheists, There was no such thing as Atheists in the Bible times they didn't believe in God but they worshipped things such as Golden Calves, Idols, Demons, and even Satan.

First off, depnds on what you mean by COLORFUL. And God did not create athiests. That is a free choice, just as being a Christian is a choice. But, in many ways the athiests and other people espousing all sinful stuff as accdeptable, have made this place pretty interesting. In many ways, they have ruined it for people needing help and looking for truth answers. When a gay kid was writing recently, he was seeking help, and someone told him to get a gun and kill himself. no matter who that was, this kind of stuff is absurd. We should be giving only true opionions, and not out to destroy someone else. But, the one thing about these people writing, is that is shows their lack of respect and tolerance and hatred for anyone that is not like them. When a true Christian points out sin, it is not to take to guilt and ruination. It is to lead them to God, and to His ability to change them and bring them a whole new life of peace, happiness and joy. If we as Christians take strong stands, we are labeled as hatemongers and judgmental. NO , we dont hate anyone, we just love them enough to desire to help them, and not encourage them to continue to go down a path that leads to destruction God says to love the sinner, but hate the sin. and that settles it for any true Christian. COLORFUL????? well, if reading all this leads people to think for themselves and see just how intolerant the ones are that dont believe in God, then I feel they are helping the Christian message a lot. And, you are correct that God does have a terrific sense of humor. and He allows free speach. But in the end, we will be reaping the rewards of all decisions leading to HIM or suffereing the conseques of making decisions apart from HIM. He wants to end all sin. because He loves us, not because He hates us. and, in Heaven, there will be NO sin. So, if we want to be there, we need to reading His word now and seeing what He is telling us, so we KNOW what His will is for our life. Christians keep writing in. we need you. and to those of you that wont accept God and use hate and sarcasm, only YOU will truly pay in the end, when you realize just how duped you were. the devil loves it and God weeps. Which is your choice? Which master do you serve today. Many are sayng on these sites there is no proof of God. Oh yes, many things have happened. and many miracles, and Bible artifacts that are found. Has any of your scientists ever healed one of your relatives????? Come on Christians, lets talk ....
