Eating grass is a sign of intestinal distress. Runny poop also. Dragging his butt could be a sign that his anal glands are full and need some squeezing, the vet can do that.

You should take a fresh stool sample to the vet so they can check for parasites. If he does have them, they can give him medication to get rid of them.

If he continues to drag his butt, bring him in so that they can squeeze the anal glands and that will make him stop dragging. He drags because they itch.

Good Luck.

Worms are actually the least common reason that a dog drags its butt - however, if he has diarrhea then he is definately not feelign well and you should take him for a fecal exam to be sure. Good Luck

Take your dog to the vet with a sample of his "poop". They can run the sample under a microscope and confirm exactly what is ailing your pup. Any dog with diarrehea is at an increased risk of dehydration if it last for longer than a 24hr period and moreso if there is mucous and/or blood in the stool/sample.
Our pup tested positive with roundworm and tapeworm and one dose of Drontal Plus from the vet was all she needed to knock them out of her system and get her back to normal.

Please take your pup in...she could also have an infection or illness - and only your VET could rule it out for sure.

Sounds like worms. Please see a vet, I'm sure your little fur friend is quite miserable.
