There are a lot of factors in that. I ask my parents' advice on my business dealings because they're older, wiser, etc. Since I'm in business for myself, I have a lot of business dealings. I haven't counted how many times I've called my parents in a day, but three would seem about average. I also talk to my mom and dad for advice on dealings with my wife, and advice on raising our son. When I was in college, I'd get dating advice from my mom... I figured she was a college girl once. She always had better advice than my male friends, I'll say that.

What is he calling them about? Are you freaking out because he has a good relationship with his parents? That is a good thing. A son who has a good relationship with his parents will most likely try to treat you right when you become the mother of his children. Are you afraid he's clingy? That might need to be looked into, depending on the content of these conversations. Clingy children don't have a good relationship, they have a dependant relationship. I used to get accused of being clingy, but my wife saw through that and realized I was just conciensous. Why is it that when you talk to your friends almost every day, you're just friendly, but when you're friends with your parents and talk to them every day, you get labeled as clingy?

In short, what is he talking to them about? And is it a two way conversation, or does he mostly just do as he's told?

I am 26 and I call my mom at least once a day. Maybe he is like me. I call my mom to tell her all the good things that happened between me and my GF the day before, You can't tell your boys cause then you got to listen to the ridicule ( I do anyways). Maybe that is why he calls his parents so much so he can brag about how perfect you are. I know I do.

No, because three times is too much. I can understand once a day, but three times is too much. I think that he is still attached to his parents and he can't let the be. He is too worried about what is going to happen to his parents.

I guess he just has a good relationship with them.
I wish my girlfriend only called her parents 3 times a day.

Normal for him I guess....is he really that close to his parents? Or do they dictate a lot of his decisions?? If he's still going by what mommy and daddy says maybe you should consider finding a "man'
