I used to use it and what I can tell you is that you can use it on oily skin, if you do use it then you'll have to make sure not to get much sunlight on your skin because the cream makes your skin sensitive to sunlight. Usually, it is prescribed by a doctor so talk with you doctor about getting it. The steps to use it are usually 1. wash your face with a cleanser that is fragrance free and soap free(cetaphil is good for this) 2. pat face dry and and dot a little bit of the cream on your forehead, cheeks, nose and chin. 3. blend it all in your skin and let it absorb in.

When I used it (long ago) it worked great. I had a new complexion. However, I noticed improvement within a month. The second time I used it, it seemed as though I was doing nothing different. Are you using the highest dose? You may want to ask about that. I was also given a course of antibiotic treatment with the retin-a cream

You have to see a Dr. to get a prescription. I really like this product. It made my skin smooth and helped with blemishes and fine wrinkles. You can't use it if you are pregnant or plan on getting pregnant because it can cause birth defects. If you are getting it over the counter it is probably not retin-A. It can take up to 6 weeks for your beautiful skin to come through because the retin-A speeds up the skin shedding process. The first few weeks, I broke out and my skin was dry and flaky but in the end, it was well worth it. Also, it makes your skin more sensitive to burning in the sun, so use sunscreen.

Hi, yes I have used it for about 6 years now. It's really great stuff. I use it for reneawl and rejuvenation purposes as it speeds up cell renewal and stimulates collagen and elastin production deep in the skin.
You just need to squeeze about half a finger tip on to your finger and apply it to your entire face and neck. For oily skin, you may want to use the Retin A Microgel form which is oil free and is a water based gel, that look like a light cream.
You may want to consult with your doctor first, but I think it is beneficial anyone with skin damage or problem skin. HTH : )

Yes you need to have it subscribed. I use it, it's alright I guess. I mean it helps yeah, but it also leaves my skin really dry, and it peels sometimes. I have oily skin and I use it so I suppose it's okay. I also use menocycline you should probably use that too. It's a pill, and them two together got rid of my acne.

It prescription only, so you need to see a doctor, but most insurance does not cover it and it's quite expensive. I would not use it unless you have a specific skin condition that this will help with.

its good. i don't like it for one reason and that is for drying and peeling the skin. it gets really irritating sometimes. but its good. its best to get it prescribed by your dermatologist. if u get it, i would suggest that you use it at night before going to sleep and one more thing dont used it with any other strong facial creams. do it with very mild facial wash and moisturizer such as neutrogena.
