Yes, I'm very satisfied. I've been a federal government grants administrator for many years, it's a great job. The people I work with (both inside the agency and outside) are very bright and interesting.

Im a retail department manager, while rewarding in its own way with the satisfaction of getting a job done and with lots of team work, I find it non satisfiying in the intellegectial part of society and lacking on the pay scale of a budding career. Once I get A degree I plan to move on into another carreer field- the best part of being a manager though, is staying in shape from all the work I do at work, and being able to be around and help manage a team of employees at work. It has its up and downs. Its good for a college student.

i'm not satisfied with my career at all. i'm a customer service representative for an insurance agency. i love my boss and the people i work with, but the actual work that i do, i can't stand it. i've been working here since january, and there's STILL a lot of stuff about insurance that i really don't understand. it's very complicated, lots of red tape to cut through. i really hate working for "the man". especially since i was going to school for theatrical direction/production, until motherhood came sooner than expected. now i have a family to support, and a monthly mortgage payment, so this will have to do.

Engineer - there's different types of engineers e.g software engineer, network engineer, system engineer, designs engineers = mostly into IT field this one requires more brains & physical power, then there's those hard core like mechanical engineer, civil engineers ~ into building/development housing, electrical, chemical engineers & various types of engineers = these are usually male dominated and may require physical stamina more loh especially for those base on site & even off shore dealing wth oil & petrol. Yes, there's hard work, professional job with special skills & qualifications BUT the pay is good, in fact it remainded among the top 3 highest paying job in the market for the past 5 years. As for being a teacher, it's not more feminine & I don't think it's stupid. People with Masters in Education can be a writer/lecturer/instructional developer even professors later on. Anyway it depends on WHAT YOU WANT? What's your passion & strength, seriously there's no job in this world that's not hard work. But if you've passion in something it makes the job eve more memorable to live with. But let's start with the basic steps first. Either you work your way up OR you can start college/uni. for it. You'll also have to survey whether you can get the job at your area/ job market at Sabah/Sarawak else like some of my friends from Sabah/Sarawak they can't get decent paying jobs of their academic qualifications so they come to KL/Penang or even Singapore to work instead. It's best if you seek any college/teacher counselor especially those that know your academic qualification & your interpersonal skills better. OR even a senior or elder cousins. Be open to criticism & be brave to know what you want & do it.
