... officially, believes in complete equality between the sexes, and in the woman's right to do exactly what a man does, and in the total rewriting of history and literature to privilege the woman's role and the woman's voice, and in the reclamation of the woman's importance in society and culture. None of which is bad in itself, but sadly feminism these days is more about making men feel like ****, making women who don't want a high-powered career and who just want to have children feel like ****, too, and refusing to acknowledge that while men and women are exactly equal, they are also different and complementary. Women and men should not attempt to be the same - we are made differently and there's a reason for that. While every human individual is exactly equal in terms of worth and value to society, the world is suffering because some people don't accept that the sexes are different, as well as equal. There needs to be a balance.

Wants to be treated equal to a man, have the same rights as a man and be respected as much as a man. Feminists want to have the same pay in the jobs, the same right to not do the dishes and the same right to treat men like pieces of meat. Damn, why have I never become a feminist?

"I have never been able to find out precisely what a feminist is: I only know that people call me a feminist when I express sentiments that differentiate me from a doormat."
- Quoted from Rebecca West, 1913.
That's what a feminist is to me!

A feminist is an ill-favoured woman in whom the maternal instinct has been replaced by the film making one.

. . . believes in political, legal, economic, and social equality between men and women. For the most part, the feminist movement has been successful in achieving these things, although we still have to work on closing the earning gap.

A man or woman who respects women enough to not allow harrassment, abuse and derogatory statements go unnoticed and be labeled as 'all right' to use. He or she desire equal rights for both genders.
*Note* Does not mean that she want's to take over the world.

Messed our world up by trying to do things that's a man's job. Now we women have to pay our own way, and open our own doors etc. We have to run a house-hold AND lead a man's life.
who ever started it should be shot.
