Bono was on stage and half way through the gig he went silent, the band went silent and the crowd then went silent. After a few seconds, he started clapping his hands with a 3 second gap between each clap. This went on for a short time and then he started to talk. "Every time I clap my hands (clap), a child in Africa dies (clap)". So someone from the crowd shouted....
"Well, foockin' stop it then!"

Good one.
I noticed the other day that U2 had 2 of the top 5 grossing tours this year netting them around $150 million. It takes a lot of nerve to tell someone who had to pay for their concert ticket using a credit card that they aren't doing enough for the poor people of the world when you have millions in the bank. As soon as Bono's bank account balance looks like mine, I'll start listening.
