If he is an ex- it is for a good reason. You can't go back, it is never the same and there are always pressures on you to stick it out , cause you came back... I don't like the control it has over my life and my decisions. If a person is an ex.. usu sally the other person has moved on with their life and doesn't want to go back to something they got rid of in the first place.
One step forward, two back... it doesn't make sense to me....

What has changed? If he has really changed as I am sure that you have is it going to be compatible? Trust me love by itself is not enough. Are you guys doing the same things and expecting different results? This deal is a long shot at best. Be careful and be happy! Good luck!

well that all depends on why you broke up and if the pros out weight the cons.
Is the relationship worth dealing with or forgetting what made you break up in the first place.
make a list if you need to, on one side of the paper write all of the good things about him, and him and you together
then on the other side write the bad things about him, and him and you together
this may give you a clearer picture of what you want, and above all be HONEST with yourself.

You want me to give you life changing advice and all you give me to work with is one sentence?
Why did you break up? How long were you going out for? Do you have kids together? etc.
I don't have any information, Gee, I might as well toss a coin.
Heads... stay broken up for at least 6 months.

Ask yourself why and what has happened in his life to change his mind. If you left him for a specific issue (running around, addiction, abuse or just orneryness) these things will not change and will not go away no matter what he says.
