it could be a problem with your document. try a detect and repair in the help menu. if that doesnt fix it try refreshing the page when you get the page cannot be displayed error. also you can try to zip the document then send it. if none of those options work you can download this program pando its quick and easy to install. its meant for sending large things that most free emails wont send but it will send any and everything without a problem. so if you really need to send it this will work. you can get it here: http://www.pando.com/download
good luck

Well, i think there can be many possibilities why this is happening.

First, it could be your ISP. Certain ISPs have blocking programs and attachment limit. You said u tried with Thunderbird... did u get any error message??

Second, it could be your antivirus program ike Norton. You wont belive the intereferance that it causes! Try disabling your antivirus for a few minutes and see if it happens.

Third, it could be Word itself. Before you do anything to word, try zipping/compressing the .doc file and then sending. Are you able to send excel and ppt files?? If yes, then it is Word!

To repair word, keep your Office CD handy and only then Repair!! In Help menu, click on Detect and Repair. Then restart system and try.

Good luck!

It could be your word program. Open Word click on Help then Detect and Repair (only takes a minute) Then try attaching again.

Save your document to RTF, then try to send it.

try running a virus scan- it could be a virus. Or even spyware.
