To be honest, at the beginning there was a terrible urge to take an offensive, aggressive position here.

But, after a couple of days of reading, the reality of the group set in. There is a lot of very interesting people here with some really good (and oftentimes funny) questions and answers. It's hard to be mean when a lot of people are being nice and having fun.

So, I decided to do my best to have fun also.

Walk away from the dark side, Luke. Come enjoy some bbq with the rest of us.

Don't do that! there really are a lot of good people out there and ask and answer in a civil way really carrying about those in this site. It's that some just have a lot of issues and use this site to blow off steam. Every group of humans has them as well as those who aren't as bright, can't get their thoughts across well, and so on. If you think a question is going to provoke you don't answer. Ignore the bad answers.

I am very religous, but I hate how religion is pitched with some quotes from a book that can't be fully identified or cross referenced. There is ignorance and racism in either side of any religous debate, it just fumes with hate and anger with every person always feeling that they are right no matter what someone else says. I don't stick to these R&S questions to much, some of the debates are worthless, more like a set up to get you to beleive something else, sort of trick you into thinking something. I just pop in and poke at people like everyone else from time to time. Other than that, I got to the sources I know are acurate and learn from there. You can see logic in a good book, but don't assume a book claimed to be good has logic.

It sounds as though you have flipped (your wig) already. With you on the "dark side" the rest of us are that much safer.

Sometimes. But that's what Satan wants. So people can point their finger at your human flesh and persecute you. What they don't understand is that Christians sin every day. The difference is they recognize that but turn to the Lord for forgiveness.

NO, you just have to realize what we're battling here. Ephesians 6:12...so I don't take no offense, I know it's not about me.

Evil, no.

Sadistic, sarcastic and facetious, yes.

I try to resist but giving in is often more amusing.
